Tips, Tricks & Warnings
- Make sure you pin Viber to your start screen, or you might miss out on notifications. The live tile will update as any messages come through.
- As with any messaging app, calls and texts will still use your data. If you are on a data plan, keep track of your data. It's always best to make calls from a WiFi connection (this will also provide the best voice quality).
- Using messaging apps like Viber can reduce your battery faster than normal. Back out of the app when you are not using it, rather than going straight to your start screen. You will still receive notifications, even if the app is not open.
- If you have problems with any of these steps, ask a question for more help, or post in the comments section below.
