How to use smart scroll in other app browser?

On most Samsung native applications, like the Internet Browser, you can use Smart Scroll on them as these applications are designed to support Smart Scrolling. Other devices may not support Smart scroll but most popular browsers should support it. Follow the steps detailed above to be able to activate and use it.

The Smart Scroll on my device seems to work best on Internet Browser rather than Google Chrome being that the option was made to support the applications on the device rather than third party or secondary applications on the application.

As of right now, the Smart Scroll is only compatible with the default browser on your device. It has been said that a new update will allow for the use of smart scroll on other browsers but for now, only the default internet browser on the device can handle or support Smart Scroll.

My smart scroll and smart pause feature stopped working?

My smart scroll and smart pause feature stopped working. I tried restart multiple times…no luck. Please suggest

Ensure that you have the screen on the device level so that you will be able to view the screen the suggested way that it was told to you in the tutorial. If you do not hold the device a certain way the feature won't work, also ensure that you have the option selected in the notification panel correctly so that you in fact know you have this feature selected.

Smart scroll not working on Note3?

Maybe because I wear glasses - but tilting the device doesn't work either

Yes, by wearing glasses it will throw off the sensor on the device. It has been reported by many other users online that this has happened to them with their devices. Also to add to my answer I also have an S4 and wear glasses so neither my smart scroll or smart pause doesn't work correctly with my glasses.

Finding the "setting icon" in the apps section?

I went to the menus app, and I can't find a "settings" icon

You have to check whether you have put it in another folder. Usually, it should be there, if you can't find it, search for it in the apps section for download. You may have unintentionally deleted it.

Controls is missing on my phone.

Please double the settings as it is there where you can view the Controls tab. Remember that when you go to the home screen then you tap the Menu key located on the right hand side of the home button, then tap the settings. You will see 4 tabs on your phone menu, however, if this is not present on the tabs, then you can tap on General and look for the Smart Screen. Once you check the General tab, you should see an option for "Controls". Configure your Smart Screen and use it.

Why does my phone magnify text when I rotate my phone?

When I am looking at a webpage with lots of text I rotate my phone to avoid having to scroll, expecting to have a larger viewing area to read. But when I rotate to do this, my phone magnifies the text way too large and I end up having to scroll anyway. This is a recent development, it used to work fine...

Are the features like "Smart Stay" and "Smart Scroll" just gimmicks or are they actually supposed to work? I am looking directly at the screen and it does not stay on. I tilt my head or device and it does not scroll in any app. Maybe my device sensor is broken?
