Method 1: Introduction
You're watching VisiHow and today we are going to show you how to use the Photo Studio application on your Samsung Galaxy S5. To start with, we need to press the lock screen button one time, which will unlock our phone.
Then we're going to swipe across the main screen or we use another method of unlocking the phone depending on what you have set up specific to your device, such as PIN or finger press.
Now we're on the home screen.
Once we're on the home screen, we're simply going to tap the Applications menu icon one time.
And then it's going to open us up to our main applications folder.
In the applications folder, you're simply looking for the Samsung Studio application, it's a multicolor blue, purple 'S'. We're just going to tap that one time.
But when you tap on Studio, it's going to give you a selection of menu options.
You're going to have four different things you can use. You have "Photo studio". You will have "Collage studio." You will have "Shot & more" and you will have "Video trimmer".
Each of these can be chosen simply by tapping it to select it.
Each function offers different options for your recordings, your photos, and each of them will allow you to do different things with them depending on your ending result for which you would like to see happen. To learn more about each of these options, please scroll down and read the corresponding section of this guide.

Method 2: Photo Studio
You are watching VisiHow. Today we are going to show you how to use the Photo studio function of the Samsung studio for the video editing application. You should already have the E Samsung Studio editing application open.
Once you have it opened, press on time on the Photo studio option.
After pressing the Photo studio option, you will be taken to a list of all your photos.
You're going to find one photo that you would like to edit, in my case we are going to choose this image of flowers.
Tapping one time on the image of flowers will open it up, and you will see the system beginning to process, and then loads the Image in.
Once the image is loaded in, you will be able to make some minor edits, modification and adjustments to it.In this case, the very first thing I am going to do is to tap on the Adjustment's Option.
The adjustment's Option will bring up a menu, which allows me to Rotate, Resize or Crop the image.
In my case, I am going to Crop the image.
It is a very large image, and I don't need all of it.
I simply want the flowers.
I am adjusting the Crop table to fit in the flowers.
And then, when we are ready, we'll tap on Done.
Now the image has successfully been cropped.
To remove this menu, I simply press the Adjustment's button again.
If I am unhappy with what I've done, I can press the back button.
And that will undo my changes.
However, if after pressing the back button, I decided that I liked what I have done, I can press the forward button instead.
Thus, return to what changes I have previously made.
Next I can change the Tone.
Tapping on the Tone, allows me to change the Temperature, Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Red's, Green's… of the image, as represented in this menu blow.
In this case, I am going to warm the image up a bit.
To warm it up, you're going to drag to the right.
Or drag down to the left.
As you can see this little temperature thing, fills up, and the image changes behind.
I am going to go ahead and make this a very warm image.
To see what it looked like before I changed it, just press and hold on the image.
There is the before picture.
Here is the after picture, when removing your finger from the image.
If you are happy with the changes, go ahead and press Done.
Next, you can tap on the Tone option To get rid of the menu.
Now we're going to press on Effect.
Effect will allow me to add a lot of things to the image.
This is mentioned below the pictures, such us Sharpen.
Now I am going to choose Yellow glow.
See what it did to the image.
I think that is too bright, so I am going to tap on cancel, to undo that.
And now I will scroll through some more of these, to see if I find one that I like.
So let's go for this one Nostalgia.
Image will have some changes.
We're going to cancel and choose another option.
Sharpen works for me, that will make it look better.
I am going to tap on Done, and the image has been sharpened.
Then I am going to tap on Effect to remove that effect.
If I was working with Portrait, I could use the Portrait option to remove, red eye, Brighten faces, Airbrush, or correct minor focus adjustments.
As mentioned in the menu, and since the image is not a face, I am not going to use any of these.
Press the Portrait to remove the menu.
I can also add Decorations; I've Stickers, Stamps, Label, Frame, Drawing, and Image.
Let's go ahead and put frame around it.
I am going to go with this frame here.
I can scroll through, to see other frame options.
If I don't like it, I can cancel.
And choose a heart shape frames.
In there, you can find several designs.
Or we can have some shape designs.
Here we have our standard frames.
So for now I am going to choose this one.
Now my image has been framed, next I can add Sticker.
I can move this image by dragging it up to here.
I can then tap on menu option, and my decoration option will go away.
Maybe I want to go back, and get rid of that heart, by pressing on the back option.
Let's put it over the fake Heart up here.
Tap on Decoration to remove the Decoration menu.
Now I can save it directly to my phone by tapping on save button.
We can choose high quality or lower quality.
We'll go with High.
Image has been saved in the Studio folder.
Next I can tap down the menu, and copy it to my Clipboard.
Or I can Share via number of social media methods, simply by tapping Share via.
This will give me, Dropbox, Bluetooth, Drive, and Facebook.
Alternatively, by tapping on the three Dots menu again, I can set it as my Home screen or other similar things.
However I am not going to do any of that, I am happy with the photo as it is, it's been saved, and that's what I want.
Pressing back will take you to the Photo studio main page, where you will be able to choose other option.
Thank you for using VisiHow, and have a great day.

You are watching VisiHow, and today we are going to teach you how to use the collage Studio function, of the Samsung S Studio photo editing application.
You should already have the application opened.
First tap on the Collage Studio function.
You will be presented a list of photos, which you can scroll through, to find the images that you would like to make a Collage of.
In my case, I am going to use food, as I like to cook.
You can choose from one to six images, this is obvious, since it is a Collage, so you need to have more than one image.
Now I have picked five images, then I will press Done.
That is going to process my images and put them into a lovely collage.
I can tap on any individual image to make changes to it, or I can tap off screen, to move off the window.
I can tap on the photos to drag and move them around, and set them where I would like them to be.
I can change the Aspect ratio.
If I prefer something more narrow, I can tap on here.
Or I can select the wide Aspect.
Next, let's tap on Layout icon.
Which will allow me to change the Layout.
Then I can press again on Layout to remove the menu.
I can move each image in the window, until I have it in the proper position.
I think I prefer this option to use in our example.
Now I am going to tap on my images, and move them.
so that each of these tasty images is wright where I want them to be.
Next I am going to move that image up.
After adjusting all images in a proper position, they will look like this.
Now I can add a Border, by tapping on the Border icon.
I can make the Border more round or less round by scrolling the Roundness indicator to the right or left.
I can make the Margins around the Borders larger or smaller.
Then we tap on the Border Button again to remove the menu option.
I can choose from a number of backgrounds that are built in, I can also create backgrounds that can be added.
However for my purposes, I am going to use this background.
Now, we have a colorful background for our demonstration of food dishes.
Next thing to do is to tap on Save icon.
The image has been saved in the Studio folder.
From the three Dots icon menu, I can set the image as a background, or share it.
I am going to tap on Share Via.
This will open up a set of application that I can use to share the image.
I can also tap on Set as.
I can set my image as a Home screen, or any other choice.
Tapping on the screen will remove this menu.
I can also add an image to it.
I will select "Flowers" for example.
Then I am going to tap on Done.
Now "Flower" is added to the images.
We can change the Layout to something little different.
This conclude our tutorial for how to use the Collage function of the Samsung Galaxy Studio Photo editing application.
When you are done, simply tap on the top arrow key to go back.
I am going to discard my changes, because I do not want to save the added image.

You are watching VisiHow. This is how to use the Samsung S5 Studio image editing application to bring out the best in your image. You should already have the S5 Studio image editing application open.
What we're going to do is tap on the Shot & More option.
Shot & More is the function that the Samsung Galaxy S5 camera offers, where it takes multiple sets of images from a single series and allows you to edit, manage and manipulate them.
Keep in mind, only pictures taken using the Shot and More options in Camera can be edited in this studio.
Tap on OK to continue.
You will see images that were taken using the Shot and More option.
Now I can choose whether I want to take the best photo, the best face if it's faces, if I had drama shots, I could choose drama shot, if I had an eraser I could choose eraser, or I can choose panning shot.
I'm going to choose Best photo.
Now I have the option to scroll through each of the images that were taken.
With these images, it's simply me moving a pen. In this case, I prefer this image, which is the one the application chose. We will save that image by tapping the disk icon in the top right corner.
If you have different types of images, you can select panning shots or other types of shots and that will allow you to modify, manage and change your images depending on your own desires.

I can turn it upside down.
Or I can put it sideways.
I can simply drag to edit where my video starts, and where my video ends.
