This is an extremely useful feature, if you are looking for a particular message someone sent, or you have a number of messages from unknown callers, and you trying to figure out which one is to keep and which one is to delete.
All which we've discussed in other videos, on how to use the Samsung Galaxy S5.
For our purposes we want keypad, which is the last one I've pressed. Once we are on Keypad, all we need to do, to see which number is assign to the speed dial, just hold our over the number, in this case you can see that I hold my finger over it, and I now have "Like a School" pop up.
I am simply holding my finger over it, and I am getting the popup.
Now, you will know that there is nothing coming up on the screen, this is because you have many dialing numbers and you pause over a number, the phone prevents you from accidentally dialing a speed dial Contact.
In my Gallery, as you can see, I have a selection of Gallery options.
Under the camera I have 181 photos, I have 1 downloaded photo, and 5 created photos, 1 kids camera photo, 21 kids drawings, 1 Viber message photo, and 20 picasa photos.Generally speaking, I would need to press on each of these, and open them to see what's in there. However, using Air gestures, I can quick put one finger over any of these folders, and I will be able to see the contents of the folder. For example I can hover my finger over Picasa, and I get a popup of what's inside Picasa.
I can hover over the camera, and I will see a quick selection of what's in my camera. So this is how you quickly and easily use Air gestures to see the content of ant set of folders, or images that you have in your Gallery.
Now let's press the home button, which is the bottom button on the center of your phone.
On your lock screen, you are going to swipe across the screen to unlock it, if you have a PIN code, or Pass code, or finger prints scan, or any other method of accessing your screen, such as a pattern, you are going to do that.
Here, you can see that we have a few applications, but we do not have the S Planner application, that is because the S Planner application is not a default icon on the desktop, of the Samsung Galaxy S5.
Therefore if you are running a stock installation as I am, you want to need to go down to the bottom right hand side, to the Apps icon, which I am currently pointing at.
Tap on the Apps icon one time, this is going to show you the applications folder, where all the applications on your device are stored.
Depending on your set up in the applications you have installed, the S planner icon may appear in a different place than it does in my current set up. However, you can see the green calendar page, with the number 31 on it, here which I am currently pointing at, that reads S Planner.
On tap on the 3rd, and if I hover my finger over the Mother's Day here at the bottom, it will not show me any more information, because there is nothing extra to show.
If I tap on the 8th, which is the International Women's Day, and if I hover my finger over that, it will also not show me any more information, because there is nothing extra to show. However, as I showed you before, tapping on the 9th, there is more information that can be displayed, so putting my finger over it actually shows me the full set of information for that particular event.
This is important, because there are many of the events that you are trying to quickly scroll through, so I may want to see what's on the 12, Just put my finger over it, so there it is as in the photo.
So, you see that we have all of these options, where you can use the Air View to see more information about what you have going on, in your calendar, or in your self-calendar functions.
This concludes our tutorial on how to use the Air View future with S Planner, to get back to the main screen, simply press the oval shaped button, at the bottom of your phone, which is the home button.
Please let us know if you have suggestions, or comments, or needed additional information about how to use this future in the S Planner, we will be happy to help you out with that. Thank you and have a great day.
Once your video is up, simply tap the screen one time to bring up the video timeline and then place your finger anywhere over it.
When you place your finger over it, it will give you a little pop-up and tell you how much time is left in the video. If you wish to press play, you can still use the function and it shows you the area.
