    First, let's look over the video real quick to see what the video looks like beforehand

    Now if we want to add some motion blur to this video, then we would go up to the top left and find the "View" tab

    Then, go down to "Video Bus Track" and click that

    Afterwards, this bar will come up at the bottom that says "Video"

    Now, to add motion blur, right click in this bar and find "Insert/Move Envelope" and go over to "Motion Blur Amount"

    Click that and then a pink bar will appear at the bottom across the screen

    If we highlight over this bar, it says "Motion Blur Length is at 00:00".

    Now let's say we want to add motion blur, we pull this bar up by dragging it up to 10, we can see just in the video preview box that it becomes a very shaky looking footage

    To bring this bar all the way up to the top, then we'll have even more of a blurry look

    Now if we want to see what it looks like, we can highlight over the areas by finding a bar with a little yellow triangle

    Drag that across the clip.

    Then go and find "Tools" and click "Build Dynamic RAM Preview" and then play the footage

    Once we've done this, we can go ahead and render our video and that will be all we need to do to add motion blur to a video in Sony Vegas.

How to add motion blur to my video?

I did the steps but there was no pink line that you said.. I have tried: I completed up to step 5 and unable to progress as there was no pink line.. I think it was caused by: I am new and have no idea.

Why is there a Big X on my video when I put motion blur in it?

When I put the motion blur on my video,a Big Orange X shows up with a text in the middle which says: RE:Vision Effects,inc. It doesn't happen in the article.But it happened to me. I have tried: Download Twixtor because it's what I've seen people do. I think it was caused by: No idea, hasn't happened in any tutorials I've seen.
