Use Handoff Between iPhone and Mac

You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we're going to demonstrate how to use "Handoff" between the iPhone and the Mac.
To start with, let's make sure "Handoff" is enabled on both devices.
Open the "Settings" menu, and go to "General" on the Mac, which in this demonstration is shown on the left-hand side of the screen.
Make sure the box that says "Allow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud devices" is checked.
Again, that should be enabled.
Close that menu by clicking on the red circle in the upper left-hand corner.
Now, we will go to our iPhone, which is shown on the right-hand side of the screen, and choose the "Settings" menu.
From the "Settings" menu, we will go to "General".
Then choose "Handoff & Suggested Apps".
Here, we'll make sure the "Handoff" switch is green, so it is activated.
Now, while having selected our Google Chrome browsing section, if we double tap on the Home screen, we'll notice there is "Safari from 'Michael's Macbook Pro'" at the bottom of the screen.
Even though we're using Google Chrome, if we tap on this "Safari from 'Michael's Macbook Pro'", it will open up Safari on the iPhone to the page we are currently viewing on the Mac.
If we want to go to a different page on our cell phone, let's just click on the first article in VisiHow.
In this demonstration, it is "Turn on Screen Mirroring on Samsung Galaxy S5 and Share Your Phone's Screen to the TV or Laptop".
We can see Google Chrome with a cell phone icon in the lower left-hand side of the Mac screen.
Let's give a single click on that.
It will actually open in a new tab the screen we were browsing on our iPhone.
As we can see, it shows up now, "Turn on Screen Mirroring on Samsung Galaxy S5 and Share Your Phone's Screen to the TV or Laptop".
That's how we can use "Handoff" to share internet browsing pages between your iPhone and your Mac.
If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the space below. Thank you for watching VisiHow.
