Hello and thank you for watching VisiHow. Today, we will show you how to use Clean Master to scan for and remove old or duplicate photos from the LG L70.
To begin, we'll unlock the phone by pressing top Power button on the right-hand side.
Then swipe up one time to open the home screen.
We do have a "Clean Master" icon set up on the home screen.
It looks like a sweeper brush.
However, if we do not have "Clean Master" set up on the home screen, we can access it though the "Apps" menu by tapping on the gray box with white squares in the lower right-hand corner.
For now, we'll just open "Clean Master" directly from the home screen by tapping on the icon one time.
In order to open the photo manager, we need to look at the icons across the bottom of the screen.
Our "Home" icon at the bottom left is currently blue.
The next icon over is an icon for "Tools", and it has four squares.
Tap on "Tools" one time to highlight that icon in blue and open the "Tools" menu.
The second option is "Photo Manager".
We'll tap that one time.
This does an automatic photo scan.
We can see that Clean Master has found some "Duplicate" photos, which are shown at the top of the screen.
We can access that by tapping on it and removing those photos.
If there are no "Duplicate" photos appearing at the top, but we would still like to scan for duplicate photos, we can tap "My Photos" at the bottom.
On the top right-hand side in the blue bar, there is an icon of a square inside of another square.
If we tap this icon one time, it does a scan for duplicate photos.
It then takes us to a screen where we can view these "Duplicate Photos", and then select to delete them.
To delete some or all of the photos, we can tap on the check mark icon in the top right corner of each photo in order to select and remove them.
When we've selected all of the photos, it asks us if we want to select all of the photos.
We may want to keep the best one. For now, we're going to select "OK" because we actually do not intend to keep any of the photos.
Then at the bottom, we'll choose "DELETE" in red.
It asks, "Delete 6 photos?".
It also states that, "They'll be kept for 7 days in Photo Trash".
We have two more very similar photos, which we can select and "DELETE" from here as well.
It asks us again if we're sure.
We are, so we'll press the red "Delete" button on the bottom right-hand side.
We can go "Back" by pressing the bottom green button that says "Back".
We can continue to go through our photos by opening up our gallery and removing any photos that we may not want anymore.
As before, tap on the check boxes to select photos, and then press the red "DELETE" button at the bottom.
It tells us again that these photos will be in the "Photo Trash", so we're going to choose "Delete".
When we're finished with this application, we can select the back arrow at the top left corner of the screen.
We can continue pressing that back arrow until we get to the "Tools" menu.
Alternatively, we can completely exit the application by pressing the bottom center button one time to return to the home screen.
This concludes this tutorial on how to use Clean Master to scan for and remove old and duplicate photos on the LG L70.
