You are watching VisiHow and today we are going to show you how to upload a video to YouTube on your Apple iPhone 6.
To start with, we can unlock our phone by pressing the lock button on the right-hand side of it.
We can also unlock the device using the Home button, which is the big round button at the bottom.
Swipe and enter the passcode or just hold the finger onto the Home button which serves as the fingerprint scanner as well.
Once we are on the Home screen, we just need to find the YouTube icon which has a red frame around a white square with a red triangle, or a play button, inside it.
Tap the YouTube icon once to open up the app.
It would automatically take us to "What to Watch" screen which will recommend videos depending on which videos we have watched.
It will also show the most popular videos on YouTube if we are not signed in.
For now, we are going to go to tap on the three horizontal lines on the top-left corner of the screen to bring up a new menu.
We can either tap on "My Channel", which is the second option with a little stickman on the left, or we can go to the quick method on the right-hand side of the "My Channel option".
We have a little horizontal line and an arrow as well which gives us the options to directly upload. However, most of the default settings will say that the app does not have access to our videos. Just press "OK".
Let's press our Home button and find "Settings", which is this gray app with a gray cog inside.
As displayed on the screen, we just have to scroll all the way down to YouTube, which will be right at the bottom because icons are sorted on an alphabetical order.
Tap on the YouTube icon.
We can see on the right-hand side that all of the buttons are disabled.
Tap the switch on "Photos" to make the button green which means that it is now enabled.
Tap on the Home button again.
We can go back to our YouTube app and try again.
YouTube will now allow us to upload.
As displayed on the screen, we are now taken to our videos.
We can just tap on one video.
Here is a video of a lion with a dog at the zoo.
Let's press the checkmark which is in the blue icon in the top right-hand corner.
YouTube brings up this new option where we can add a title to our video.
We can then choose if we wanted it to be Public, Unlisted, or Private.
At the moment, the video is automatically Private. We can just tap on the one that we prefer.
We can add a description if we would like to by typing in the "Description" box.
We can start to add text on the box. Just press "Done" and it will it give us the option to add a new tag and so on.
When we are happy with everything, let's press the icon in the top right corner which is the blue box with the horizontal line and the arrow.
We can also press the cross icon on the left corner if we want to go back.
Let's tap on the blue box.
We can see now that it is uploading quite quickly now.
As displayed, it is moving along.
Uploading 50%, 64%, 78%, 80% and we are nearly there.
YouTube will start to finalize the video. We can see now that the video it is not completely highlighted - which means we can't actually tap on it.
In a few minutes, or even seconds, it will finish finalizing and we can view our newly uploaded video.
As displayed, our video is now uploaded.
The video says that it was uploaded 1 second ago underneath the title.
When we tap on the video icon, our video will play just like every other video on YouTube.
If we want to go back, we can drag the screen down and drag sideways to close the video.
Go to the top left corner with the gray arrow and we are back on our "What to Watch" page where we originally began.
This is a VisiHow video and I've just shown you how you could upload a video on to the YouTube application on the iPhone 6.
