Update or Change Skype Mood Message or Status on iPhone 6
Edited by Freya, Crystal, Eng
Hello, you're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to update your mood message on the Skype application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the right-hand side or the big round button at the bottom of the screen called the home button.
Unlock the phone by swiping right and entering the passcode.
Alternatively, press your finger on the home button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, if you have that option enabled.
Once on the home screen, find the Skype icon.
In this example, it is in the "Social" folder. The icon is light blue and white with a blue "S" in the center. Tap that once to open it up. It will either take you to the sign-up page or the recent contacts page with a list.
Tap on your profile picture in the small circle in the top right-hand corner.
This will open up your profile.
In your profile, you will see your profile picture at the top, and underneath of that in light blue it says "Enter mood message".
Tap that to enter a mood message.
Write your mood message, then press "done" in the top right-hand corner when you are done.
In this example, we wrote "Hello!". We can also press "cancel" in the top left corner if we don't want to save it.
Now, in the blue bar, it says "Hello!", so when we show up as a contact on someone else's profile, it will say that next to the name.
To return to the main menu, tap the white arrow in the top left corner.
This will bring us to the "recent" screen.
This concludes the tutorial on how to update your mood message on Skype using the iPhone 6 application.
