Edited by AliRaza, Lynn, Maria, Dougie and 9 others

Samsung promised to release the Android 4.3 update for all their flagship devices, but the release date is not confirmed. However, thanks to the Cyanogen Mod team, they have released the CM10.2 based Android 4.3 for all the flagship devices of Samsung, Google, LG, Sony, etc. The stable version is still in progress and there is no update on when the official version will released, so the custom ROM is the best way to enjoy the features of Android 4.3. In this article we will show you how to install Android 4.3 on Samsung Galaxy S3.

Questions and Answers

I have a problem with my Samsung Galaxy S3 on Android 4.3?

I want to run my app written in Eclipse, but Eclipse does not find my mobile phone. What should I do? I am running Windows 7.

You will need to update your version of Eclipse to the latest version that is compatible with Jelly Bean 4.3. Running a non-compatible version of the application will result in your Samsung Galaxy S3 phone not being detected by Eclipse, in which case you will not be able to connect and run your app. The use of Windows 7 should not impact this, as Windows 7 is considered a current release, and has not been phased out, like Windows XP.

My S3 just turned off.. When I try and switch it on - I only get the initial display of 'Samsung Galaxy sIII GT-I9300' staying permanently on the screen and does not boot to the power up page.. . I tried to reboot but also this does not work.. Please help. I have not seen such problem with my phone. It just froze on me. I took the battery out but again no luck. When charging, the battery meter does not boost up like it used to before but instead its confused and only the meter of the battery shows up. I have tried: I tried to reboot by pressing the volume up, home button and the power button together and I wiped everything but with no luck. I think it was caused by: I am not sure.
