Hi, you're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to update your News Feed status on the MyFitnessPal app on the iPhone 6.
To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone.
Alternatively, press the big round button at the bottom of the phone called the home button.
Once the lock screen is up, simply swipe right to unlock the phone.
Enter the passcode or press your finger on the home button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, if you have that option enabled.
Look for the "MyFitnessPal" app, which, in this case, is in the "Useful" folder.
It is a blue icon with a white silhouette of someone jumping, and in the left-hand corner there is a grey tab with a little dumbell symbol. Tap it once to open the application.
It will automatically open to the homepage, where you can see the calories for the day, the option to connect, blog posts, and updates from your friends.
In the bottom grey bar, tap the last option, "More", with 3 dots.
Tap the first option, "My Profile", which is indicated by the silhouette of the person on the left-hand side.
This will open up your profile.
Tap on "Write on your news feed" and then we can type something.
Tap the check in the top right corner to update your status.
In this case, we have just written "Hello".
The status update is now showing on my profile.
To go back to the home page, tap the arrow in the top left corner.
Press the home icon in the bottom left corner, indicated by a house.
We are back to the home page and we can see the status update.
This concludes the tutorial on how to update your status on the MyFitnessPal app on the iPhone 6.
