Unlink and Remove Instagram from Samsung Galaxy S5

Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this tutorial, I will show you how to unlink, log out of, and then remove Instagram on your Samsung Galaxy S5.
Turn your phone on by pressing the power button on the right side of your phone.
Swipe across your screen to unlock your phone.
You may have other methods of unlocking your phone.
Tap the profile icon in the bottom right corner of your screen to open your profile.
Tap your phone number, listed under PRIVATE INFORMATION.
Tap the arrow icon in the top right corner of your screen to save your changes and return to the Edit Profile screen.
This will ensure your profile is no longer associated with your phone number.
Tap the checkmark in the top right corner of your screen to save and return to your profile page.
Tap the 3 dot icon in the top right corner of your screen to open the options menu.
Scroll down to the bottom of the menu and tap Log Out.
Tap the home button once to return to the home screen.
Tap the recent applications button on the bottom left corner of your screen and swipe Instagram from right to left to close it.
Press and hold on the Instagram icon.
Drag the Instagram icon to the trash can icon labelled Uninstall and release to uninstall the app from your phone.
When prompted, tap Uninstall to confirm.
Tap the Apps icon to double check Instagram has been uninstalled.
Tap the home button to return to the home screen.
