To move the keyboard once it has been undocked, tap and quickly drag the keyboard icon again
    .
Something like tapping and moving quickly. The reason for that is that if you tap and hold the icon as you did previously, the icon will pop-up the menu; and you will not be able to move the keyboard. Again, the correct way to move the keyboard: quick tapping and dragging before the menu pops up. You do not have to lift the finger off the screen when you move the keyboard around.
