Unable to connect to the internet even when the mobile data is turned on?

I am using Samsung Galaxy star (GT-S5282). On notification section I have turned on the Mobile data. but when I go to settings->more settings->Mobile networks, I am not able to turn on the "enable data access over mobile network" the option seems like hidden.. I have tried: I have tried creating the new APN settings but its of no use.. I think it was caused by: Its a dual SIM mobile. I have used another Airtel SIM to activate it from my mobile. I received a message for the internet configuration settings but I didn't install it, instead I have pressed cancel. I don't know whether this may be the reason for the issue I am facing.

You will need to request that email for the internet settings again from Airtel. This is why the mobile data and internet are not turning on because they were not configured properly. You can contact Airtel here. You will get a text message with the proper configurations so that you can use the internet again on your device. There is a YouTube Tutorial on how to get 4G LTE on Airtel as well that you should watch.

Mobile Data connection doesn't appear on LG G4?

I recently bought a new LG G4 Marshmallow. I enabled mobile data but it doesn't show on the notification bar at the top. Usually, there's an up/down arrow showing if you're connected on 3G, H, H+, H++. I have tried: Reset to factory. Made sure I have the right APN settings on my phone. tried other cellular network

Even though you made sure the APN was set, there is one more step. Under your network settings, you will want it to show APN Type: default, dun, fota. Even if this is they way it looks now it is is still wise to input it again and click SAVE. If this still does not work then change the APN Type to default, supl. You did not list your carrier but if these two solutions do not work you will need to contact them. The Marshmallow update did this to many devices. For instance, I purchased a Moto X Play. Removed it from the box and it started the update to Marshmallow when I turned on the device. Same issue and put in the default, dun, fota and it worked immediately. Your carrier may have a different APN Type so contact them if these do not work. Also, put your phone into Recovery Mode and choose Wipe Cache Partition and Wipe Dalvik Cache. This will clear out any cache that is stopping new processes with the Marshmallow OS. It is always good to do this after an update anyway.
