Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to turn your location on and off in the Twitter application when using a Microsoft Lumia 535.
To get started, press the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone.
Once the phone is activated, swipe the lock screen up to go to the home screen.
Locate the Twitter tile.
It has a light blue background with an image of a white bird on it. If Twitter has not been pinned to the home screen, swipe left to find it in the Apps menu.
Once it is found, press on Twitter to open the application.
When Twitter opens, press the new message icon at the bottom of the screen.
It is the image of a quill in a square. A quill is an old fashioned pen that looks like a feather.
On the next screen, tap on the second icon at the bottom of the screen.
It looks a bit like a set of pan pipes, or a rectangle with a diagonal portion cut off at the end. This will bring up a map.
At the bottom of the screen it will way "turn location on" or "turn location off."
Tap on "turn location on" to turn it on or "turn location off" to turn it off.
Turning the location on will prompt the map to immediately zoom in on your location. Then when a tweet is sent, the location will be connected to it.
This concludes this tutorial on how to turn on and off your location when using the Twitter application on a Microsoft Lumia 535.
If you have any questions or comments about this video or about the application itself, then please leave them in the comment section below, and we will answer them for you. Thank you for watching VisiHow. Goodbye.
