Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to turn on and off Safety Mode in YouTube on an HTC One M8.
- 3Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen. At the bottom, we will see icons. It is one of these icons that we now need to use, as we need to open up the applications folder. To do that, we need the icon located at the bottom of the home screen in the middle. It looks like a grid made up of white dots. Press down on this icon and it will open up our applications folder.
- 8In this menu, we are looking for the "Safety mode" option. It says, "Safety mode hides videos that may contain inappropriate content flagged by users and other signals. No filter is 100% accurate, but it should help you avoid most inappropriate content." This is quite self-explanatory. To activate Safety Mode, press down on this section. It is currently deactivated, because the adjacent box is empty.
