    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone

    Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

    To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

    Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

    We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

    There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

    Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Gmail application
    .
    There is a Gmail icon, which is an envelope with a red 'M', and underneath it says the word "Gmail". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder. We now need to find the settings menu.

    We want to press down on the option that says "Out of Office AutoReply"

    It currently says "Off" underneath of it. This option will allow us to automatically respond to emails when we're not in the office and not able to reply. Anyone who sends us a message during the set period will receive an automatic response telling them whatever has been set.

    Tap the gray switch in the top right corner to turn the option on
