Turn On or Off System UI Tuner on Nexus 6P

You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, I'm going to demonstrate how to enable or disable the user interface tuner on the Nexus 6P.

Steps

    On the home screen, swipe down from the top with two fingers

    This is going to reveal a gear-shaped icon.

    You will have to press and hold the gear-shaped icon

    Now, when you release it, the phone will inform you: "Congrats! System UI Tuner has been enabled!" You will see this at the very bottom of your "Settings" screen. In another tutorial we will go over how to use the UI Tuner. In this tutorial, we'll finish up by showing how to disable this option.

    Tap on the back arrow at the bottom of the phone

    To disable the UI Tuner, tap on the gear-shaped icon again for an extended period of time

    Five seconds should be enough. The phone will ask you if you want to "Remove System UI Tunes from Settings and stop using all of its features".

    Tap on "REMOVE"

    The phone will remove the System UI Tuner.
