Edited by Thor, Amanda, Eng, Anonymous
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to turn on and off the option to be notified when applications have been automatically updated on an HTC One M8.
- 3Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen. At the bottom, we will see icons. It is in this section that we now need to focus, because we need to open up the applications folder. To do that, we use the icon located at the bottom of the home screen in the middle. It looks like a grid made of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder. Press down on this icon and it will open up our applications folder.
- 7Find the option marked "Apps were auto-updated".It says, "Notify when apps are automatically updated". When an app is automatically updated, we will receive a notification telling us about that process. This option is currently selected. We can tell because the adjacent box is a turquoise color and has a white checkmark inside.
- 11This concludes our tutorial on how to turn on and off the option to be notified when applications have been automatically updated on an HTC One M8.If you have any questions or comments regarding this video, or about the process that you have seen in this video, then please leave them in the comment section below, and we shall answer them for you.
