    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button located on the top of the phone

    Press down on this icon, and it will open up the "Apps" folder

    We now need to find the Settings menu, and to do that we can use the icon located on the far right hand side of the screen in the white bar

    There are three gray horizontal lines. This icon is faint, but should still be visible.

    We want the option that says, "App Settings"

    Next to these words, there is a gray circle with a white cog icon inside. It may be necessary to scroll up or down to find that option.

    Press down on "App Settings" to open the "Settings" menu

    We want the first available option, "Notifications" so press down on that section

    As we can see, the switch icon on the right side of the screen is blue. This means that when we receive "Application requests" in Facebook, such as Candy Crush or any of the applications that exist on Facebook, we will receive a notification about this request.

    However, if we don't want to receive any notifications about "Application requests", then press down on the switch icon until the circle changes from blue to white

    That means the option is deactivated.

    If we do want to receive "Application requests", we can press down on the switch icon again until it turns blue
