Turn On or Off Aerial View for Microsoft Maps on a Microsoft Lumia 535
Edited by Thor, Alexander Avdeev, Anonymous
Welcome to VisiHow! In this video, we are going to show you how to turn on or off the aerial view in the Microsoft Maps application when using the Microsoft Lumia 535.
- 4Press the three white dots in a line to open a menu to switch to the aerial view. The current view shows a map that shows roads and street and city names, and it is not an actual representation of the location. Turning the aerial view on will allow seeing the satellite image that reveals objects, terrain and landscape in full color. The aerial view might be a bit clotted, and this is why the starting view is a map. Less information in the map view makes it easier to identify streets.
- 7Tap the icon with a white check in a white circle at the bottom of the screen. This confirms and saves the view options and switches back to the previous screen. Instead of the map view, the satellite image is now shown with all forests, trees, houses, and roads. It may give a much better understanding of the location. Aerial view gives the advantage of visibility of all landscape and terrain in color.
- 11Tap the white check in a white circle at the bottom of the screen. This confirms and saves the view options. The view will return to the standard map view.Advertisement
