If you do not know if you have an issue with the phone, but you do know the battery is working fine. What you can do is to take the battery out of the phone first to turn it off as well, then once the battery has been removed what you need to do next is to hold the phone and place it on a flat surface while the power button is facing the surface. What you need to do next is to give the phone a little whack. I don't mean slam the phone's power button onto the surface. Bump it gently about three times but do not slam the phone with force as you might break it. Put the battery back in and you should be able to turn on the phone.

Another reason for this problem is that the battery panel might need a cleanup. There are some instances you cannot avoid the three bronze panels on the phone attracting some dirt that you'll need to clean. I suggest you use a hook or a needle to scrape the dirt " gently " and thoroughly, then place the battery back into the phone and turn it back on.

If your phone's power button is still not working after doing the suggested steps above, you might need to disassemble the phone to clean it all up, especially around the power button as dirt collects there and you need to clean it. Since it is a risky action, If you do not know how to do this, it is best that you take it to the Samsung service center or your favorite tech services and have them clean the phone - as you are voiding the warranty if you do it on your own.

I have inserted the battery and still no response

Make sure the battery was inserted properly, as it may not connect properly, and will not have power to boot the phone. Make sure also that the phone battery has been charged. You can also try to insert the battery in another Samsung S3 phone and see if the battery is working so you can determine if the battery has an issue, or there is an issue with the connections on your phone, or simply connect the charger to the phone then to a power outlet or to a computer and see if it will charge and wait for it then turn it back on after few minutes.

My Galaxy Note3 won't turn on or charge anymore, never had water damage, what happened to it?

It will turn on once in a while and either stop at Samsung or turn on fully and work for a few hours

At times some devices will fail to work because if faulty equipment and also bad manufacturing. I had this issue with my S3 when I first purchased it as I pulled it out of the box and it would not turn on or work. I then had to send it back to Sprint to receive a new device.

There are some options you can perform to receive a new device:

- Take the device back to the store where you purchased it to receive a new device.

- After contacting Customer Service, send it back to the online store you purchased it from to receive a new device.

- Contact the carrier you purchased the device from in order to let them know of the situation so that they can send you a replacement device.

- Take your device to a repair center to have it checked for issue to have it repaired.

With carriers, if the device is insured they will replace the phone for free, unless it suffered water damage or has a cracked screen.

I have a Galaxy Note3 that recently had the flip cover standby mode stopped working?

It won't turn on or off with the flip cover, but the switch on the screen works just fine. I don't believe that there was an auto update on software. Model number is SM-N9005 Android version 4.4.2

How do I fix my Samsung Galaxy Note3?

Well the phone makes sounds lights come on and off everything seems to be working but the screen won't turn on, it stays black.

There are a number of reasons your phone's screen may stay black, though the most common is water damage. Alternatively, your phone's display connector may have become dislodged inside the phone; if your phone has not been water-damaged, this is the most likely cause. Take your phone into the store where you bought it, and get it checked out by one of the store's technicians.

Samsung SM-N900 (Exynos) problem?

Hello. I have googled all Android forums, asked for help, but no luck. Maybe you could help me. So I have Samsung Galaxy Note3 (N900). It worked perfectly since I bought it in 2013. But now it lags terribly, battery drain is very high. I turned on Developer Mode and it shows some process with very high CPU usage called "irq/563-sii8240" What is it? I even flashed another firmware, reset phone, nothing helps. The same thing again. And battery percentage is shown wrongly. It shows 1%, battery actually being fully charged. USB port doesn't work also (but it does in ODIN mode). Thank you!
