Hello! Welcome to VisiHow! In this video, we are going to show you how to turn on and off the option to receive quest notifications from the Play Games application on the HTC One M8.
To begin, we turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the top of the phone.
Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen.
To unlock the phone, we swipe the screen upwards.
Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen. There will be icons at the bottom. We need to access one of the icons at the bottom now, as we need to open up the applications folder.
To open up the applications folder, we need to tap the middle icon.
The icon is located at the bottom of the home screen. The icon is a grid made up of white dots. Tapping this icon will open up our applications folder.
In the applications folder, we now need to find the Play Games application icon.
The icon has a green computer controller that says, "Play Games" underneath. The position of the Play Games icon may be different in the applications folder. Therefore, we will need to find the icon.
Once we have found the Play Games icon, we tap it to enter the application.
Now, we need to find and tap the "Settings" menu.
To do that, we need to tap the icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen. The icon has three white horizontal lines. Tapping this icon will open a menu.
We want to tap the word "Settings".
Tapping the option will open up the "Settings" menu.
We need to find the option that says, "Quests notifications".
It says, "Allow games to send notifications for quests". The option is currently activated because the box next to the option is green and has a white check inside.
If we want to turn off the "Quests notifications" option, then we tap the box next to it until the box is empty.
We won't receive quests notifications. That means that the option is deactivated.
However, if we do want to receive quests notifications, then we tap the box until it is green and has a white check inside.
That means that the option is activated.
This concludes our tutorial on how to turn on and off the option to receive quests notifications from the Play Games application on the HTC One M8.
