To do that, we need to tap the icon located on the far right of the screen in the white bar. There are three gray horizontal lines. This icon is quite faint, but we will be able to see it. We tap it to open up a menu.
If we tap the icon or anywhere on the section with the words, then Facebook is going up to open up a page that says, "Facebook is Better With Friends", and, "See who's on Facebook by continuously uploading your address book
Then choose who you want to add as friends." What this means is that when we add people to our address book on the HTC One M8, it is going to try to connect friends from our contact list and phone book to our Facebook account continuously.
We tap the "Get Started" section at the bottom in the blue bar
It will say, "Contacts Uploading Turned On". Facebook is going to find the contacts that we have in our phone book on the HTC One M8. This will show us which people from our phone book have a Facebook account.
If we want to turn off the "Continuous Contacts Upload" option, and we don't want Facebook to try to continuously upload our contacts from our phone book to Facebook, then we can tap the toggle next to the option
Facebook is going to ask, "Stop continuously uploading your contacts? Any contacts info you've previously uploaded here will be deleted."
This concludes our tutorial on how to turn on and off continuous contact uploads in Facebook on the HTC One M8.
