Turn Confirmation before Sending Messages On or Off in Gmail on HTC One M8
Edited by Thor, Crystal, Eng
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to turn on and off the option to give confirmation before sending messages in the Gmail application on an HTC One M8.
- 4Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Gmail application. There is a Gmail icon, which is an envelope with a red 'M', and underneath it says the word "Gmail". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder. We now need to find the settings menu.
- 8We want the option that says "Confirm before sending" in the "Action Confirmation" section. This means that if we try to send a conversation in Gmail, it will bring up a box asking us to confirm that choice to make sure we really do want to send it. We can see it is currently off because the box is empty. That means that when we press down on the send icon, it doesn't ask us to confirm that choice. To turn it on to have the confirmation, press down on the box.
- 11This concludes the tutorial on how to turn on or off the option to give confirmation before sending messages in Gmail on the HTC One M8.If you have any questions or comments about this video, or about the process that you have seen in this video, then please leave them in the comment section below, and we will answer them for you.
