Turn Color Inversion On or Off on the HTC One M8

Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we're going to show you how to turn color inversion on and off on an HTC One M8.


Steps

    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button located on the top of the phone

    Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the Lock screen

    To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards.

    At the bottom there will be some icons

    What we need to do is find the Settings menu

    To do that, we need to swipe the Notification panel down. Start right at the top of the screen and swipe downwards.

    Now we can see that the Notification panel has appeared

    We're looking for the icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen which looks like a white cog

    This is our Settings icon.

    Press down on this icon and it will open up our "Settings" menu

    In the top left-hand corner of the screen, we can see it says the word "Settings"

    Let's scroll down now until we get to the "PERSONAL" section

    We can see that it says the word "PERSONAL" in this gray bar.

    In this section, we're looking for the option that says "Accessibility"

    Next to this word, there is an icon of a hand.

    Press down on this option then, and it will open up our "Accessibility" options
    .

    The option that we want in this menu is "Color inversion"
    .
    It does say that it "May affect performance". That's because the colors are quite bright and garish. This may make it difficult for some functions to work or for some images to be perceived clearly, but it kind of jazzes things up a bit. It exists and we may want to use it.

    Currently, it's turned off and we can see it's turned off because it says "OFF" in this gray icon

    If we want to turn it on, we just press down on that icon and it will say the word "ON"

    We can see that the color has been inverted or there is color inversion. The white has become black, the black has become white and there is quite a lot going on. It's quite in our face, but it's quite powerful, emotive and it's quite striking.

    However, if we want to turn this off, then we just press down on that icon again and we can see that it has been turned off
