Edited by Hotelier, Rushell, Eng
Hello and thank you for watching VisiHow. Today, we will show you how to turn on and off text auto suggestion and autocorrect on the LG L70.
We'll begin this tutorial by unlocking the phone, and we can do that by pressing the top right-hand side Power button.
Then swipe up one time to open the home screen.
We now need to access the Settings, and there are two ways to do this.
The first is through the "Apps" menu, which we can access by pressing the icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
Then we'll look for the gear-shaped Settings icon.
Alternatively, we can swipe down from the very top of the phone screen.
This opens the Notifications panel, where we'll find a gear-shaped icon in the top right-hand corner.
Tap on that icon to open the Settings menu.
We can see four categories across the top, which include "Networks", "Sound", "Display" and "General".
We need to tap on "General", which is the gear-shaped icon on the far right side.
We can scroll down until we get to "language & input".
Tap on that section one time.
On the "Language & input" screen, we can change our keyboard settings.
The keyboard we're currently using is the "LG Keyboard".
Tap the gear-shaped icon located on the right side of the screen across from "LG Keyboard".
At the top of the next screen, there is a checked box or "Word suggestion".
If we would like to turn off everything in "Word suggestion", we can tap the check box one time in order to completely turn it off.
We can turn it back on by tapping on the box one more time until the check appears.
When "Word suggestion" is on, we will see that the gear-shaped icon on the right side is enabled.
Tap on the gear-shaped icon one time.
Now, we can see a check box for "Auto correction".
There is also a check box for "Suggest next word".
We also have a check box for "Advanced word suggestion".
At the bottom, there is an option to "Clear history".
We can turn on or off any of the top three options by tapping on the boxes to add check marks or remove them.
Tapping on an empty box adds a check mark and turns the option on, and tapping on a checked box removes the check and turns the option off.
We can close the Settings menu by pressing the bottom center button one time.
This will return us to the home screen.
This concludes today's tutorial on how to turn on and off text auto suggestion and autocorrect on the LG L70.
