Turn Airplane Mode ON and OFF for Samsung Galaxy S5

Hi, you are watching VisiHow, and today we are going to show you how you can turn ON/OFF the Airplane mode through your Settings option and additionally how you can turn ON Airplane mode and still use WiFi. I am going to explain why we might want to do that. Let us say that you are recording videos, and you need not be disturbed by SMS, text messages, and telephone calls, while you are in the middle of your video recording. You can turn ON Airplane mode and then you can turn ON your WiFi connectivity, so you can still access the internet and still receive E-mails, but you will not be receiving phone calls, text messages, or anything else that might disturb you. Likewise you can do the same thing in the evening, if you do not feel like setting up or turning ON "Do not disturb" features, but you want to turn OFF your phone for a while. This also works if you are down the stairs, in the basement, at office buildings, or any place where you have a very poor cell signal, but you have WiFi. This will let you shut down your cell phone signal, but it will keep the WiFi running.
- 28Thank you very much for using VisiHow.Hopefully you will have a great day; we will be looking forward to seeing you again in future videos.Advertisement
