Trying to format my SD card on my Samsung Galaxy S5. It just asks for a code number password. Where do I find this?

SD card code number. I have never set up a code number. Where do you get it from?

Your Samsung Galaxy S5 is asking for a PIN code or password for the SD card because it is encrypted. Encryption keeps your SD card's contents safe by requiring a PIN code to get into it. Unfortunately, if you never set encryption on your SD card up, you will need to call the manufacturer of your SD card to get a new card. Once encryption is set up, it cannot be disabled without the password.

Hi, video/pics corrupt?

Hi. I just bought a new SanDisk 128GB SD card and put it in my SG5. The phone recognizes the card fine and I transferred all my old data from a 64GB card to it and the phone sees those files just fine. However, video and pics now taken with the phone are coming up unreadable and corrupt. File size on the SD card seems reasonable, but even transfer to a computer, I cannot read the video or photos.
