Trying to determine if mobo is the cause for my PC not booting?

Have been through all other options, attempting to breadboard mobo but now no power, what connections should be made to breadboard apart from 24 pin. the PSU is 3 months old after last one failed, this one works with green black connection so assume OK. I have tried: RAM swaps, different graphics card, PSU check.. I think it was caused by: Maybe overheating, I don't know. I had a game on PC, I stepped away to come back to a black screen, reboot wouldn't work
