Please do the following to solve this problem.

  • Perform a Hard Reset on your phone. Please follow the steps on "Method 2: Hard reset ".
  • If you are still stuck on boot after the Hard Reset, you may need to re-flash your stock ROM using ODIN. Please follow the instructions on "What to do in case of a boot-loop".
  • That's it. Re-flashing the stock ROM to your phone should fix the problem.

I have my Samsung Galaxy young phone.Just a few hour back the phone got switched off and when I am trying to on it, the phone hangs on the Samsung logo and doesn't move on it just gives a short vibration on the logo. And due to this m not able to find the firmware version tool.

If you've recently updated your phone's firmware and it's now not able to boot up, try a Hard Reset and see if it fixes the issue. With the phone powered off, press and hold the power, volume up and home buttons together to access the recovery mode menu. See diagram here:
