Edited by Thor, Crystal, Eng, Anonymous
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to translate and undo the translation of news sources in the Play Newsstand application on the HTC One M8.
To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone.
Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.
To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up.
Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.
We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen.
There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.
Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Play Newsstand application.
There is an icon of a blue piece of paper and underneath are the words "Play Newsstand". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder.
Once the application has loaded, we need to be in the "My Library" section.
This is the only section where we can translate and undo the translation of news sources.
For example, if we press down on the three horizontal lines in the top left-hand corner, we can see the "Read now" section.
We can not translate articles in this section. We need to make sure we choose "My Library". Here we will see a list of different news sources that we added to this application.
Choose the news source to translate.
We're going to choose the Washington Post. We will be able to see all of the different news articles from them.
We need to tap the 3 small white dots in a vertical line, in the top right-hand corner.
This will open the menu.
Now we can choose the language to translate to by pressing the little gray arrow, pointing down.
We will see a list of all of the different languages we can translate the news channel to.
Tap on the chosen language.
We're going to translate it to Spanish.
Press down on "TRANSLATE".
It will translate the entire news channel into the chosen language.
Everything has successfully been translated to Spanish.
We can undo the translation of this news channel by pressing down on the 3 small white dots in a vertical line, in the top right-hand corner.
Tap on "Undo translation".
Everything is back in English.
This concludes the tutorial on how to translate and undo the translation for news sources in the Play Newsstand application on an HTC One M8.
