What happens if I have broken the head off a tick in my dogs neck?

I thought my dog had a twig stuck in the hair on his neck and not looking closely I pulled on the object. As soon as I had it in my hand I determined it was a swollen tick. Now I think the head is broken off in his neck and there is a red spot with a tiny black center. I can't get it out with tweezers. What is my next move?. I have tried: Just the tweezers which didn't work. Also applied alcohol to the spot.

What is the best way to remove a tick head that is still in the body?

Got a yearling tick on my back yesterday, but didn't find it till this morning, wife tried to remove it with turpentine soak and steady pressure, but head stayed. Raised in east Texas, tick bites were common and that is how we removed them. I have tried: Turpentine and steady pull...head still there
