Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to take a video using the Snapchat application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone.
Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the round button at the bottom of the screen.
Swipe to the right to enter your passcode.
As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.
Find the Snapchat icon on the home screen.
In this example, the home screen is customized and might look a bit different. In this example, it is located in the 'Social' folder. The icon is yellow with the shape of a white ghost in the center. Tap it once to open the application.
To change which camera to take a video with, tap the icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
We can take a photo using the round gray button at the bottom of the screen if we'd like to.
Tap and hold down the button at the bottom to take a video.
It will get a red dot in the middle to indicate that it is taking a video, and a red bar around the circle will indicate the length of video you are able to take. When it fills the circle, the video is done recording.
A preview of the video we've recorded will begin to play.
To cancel sending it, tap on the "x" icon in the top-left corner of the screen. This will take us back to our camera where we can start to record again.
Let go of the button at any time to stop recording the video.
Tap on the icon in the top-right corner to go back to the camera screen where we started from.
Now you know how to take a video using the Snapchat application on the iPhone 6.
If you have any questions or comments please enter them in the section below. Thank you for using VisiHow, goodbye.
