- 9Now, open your hand and make sure that it is perpendicular to the screen.Also, make sure that your hand is always making contact with the screen while swiping from left to right or from right to left. Arrows are showing you the direction in which your hand should glide across the screen. If the gesture doesn't work, it means that your hand is not in contact with the screen at all times. Now, the screen has been successfully captured.
