Steps

    Press the Lock button on the right side of the phone to turn the screen on and display the lock screen

    Alternatively, press the Home button at the bottom of the phone.

    Swipe from left to right and enter the passcode or, if the option is enabled, press a finger on the Home button to unlock the phone and display the Home screen

    Find and tap the Snapchat icon to open the Snapchat application

    The app will open to the default screen, the camera screen, which uses the camera on the back of the phone

    Tap the switch camera icon in the top right corner of the screen to switch between the camera on the back of the phone and the camera on the front of the phone

    Once a photo has been taken that we would like to use, tap the arrow icon in the bottom right corner of the screen to proceed to the 'Send To' screen

    Tap the contacts we would like to send the photo to

    Once a contact has been selected, there will be a blue checkmark icon to the right of the contact. For contacts in the 'BEST FRIENDS' section of the 'Send To' screen, the blue checkmark will be replaced with a star, which indicates a contact that we often send a photo to.

    Tap 'My Story' to add a photo to our story

    Once 'My Story' has been selected, a purple checkmark icon will appear to the right of 'My Story'.

    Tap a selected contact, or 'My Story', again to remove the checkmark and not send the photo to that contact

    When we have finished selecting contacts to send the photo to, tap the arrow icon in the bottom right corner of the screen to send the photo
