Switch Keyboards on the iPad Air 2

You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to switch keyboards on the iPad Air 2. In order to change one keyboard type to another on the iPad, you'll need to be in application that allows you to type. This can be any sort of application, such as Notes, Reminders, Calendar, and even the search option in "Settings". It doesn't matter what the application is. All that matters is that you should be able to type.

Steps

    Let's tap on Messages

    This is where some people type the most. You will have a message already started.

    In order to open the keyboard, tap on the "Message" field

    You can type in English

    Let's type "Hi". This will give us pop-up predictive text options.

    Tap on the globe sign to switch the keyboard

    In this video, the keyboard will be switched to the emoji layout. You can add an emoji note such as a music icon or a smiling-face icon.

    From the emoji layout, tap on the "ABC" icon to get to the next keyboard layout

    Tap the globe sign again

    This will take you to the next keyboard layout that you may have. In this video, it's the Russian keyboard.

    If you want to quickly switch keyboards, you can tap and hold the globe button
