Switch Between Keyboard Languages on Your Microsoft Lumia 535
Edited by Thor, Colette Cole, Eng, Anonymous
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to switch between different languages on the keyboard of a Microsoft Lumia 535.
In order to show you this, we need to first turn the phone on.
We can do that by pressing the power button on the right-hand side of the phone.
That will activate the phone.
Now we're going to scroll up from the lock screen.
We will enter the home screen.
We need a keyboard in order to give you an example of exactly what I'm talking about.
To do that, I'm going to enter the messaging application. I can find that on my home screen up here, where the "message bubble" tile is. Yours may be in a different place on the home screen, as I have configured my home screen to make it more esthetically appealing.
I'm going to press that tile now and enter that application, which is the messaging application.
I want to activate the keyboard since I want to show you what I need to do, so I need to press this button here, which is the "+" button in a circle.
That will bring up the keyboard.
Now we can see that we have the keyboard in front of us and we can see that it is in the Latin alphabet.
If you look down at the bottom here you can see "ENG". That tells us the keyboard is in English.
What we need to do if we want to change the language is to press that button.
Press it down and it now will show us the languages currently available.
For example, we can choose USA English.
Another example here is Russian, which is an available option.
Press it again and we go to Bengali.
We can start to type in Bengali and I can type it down here so you can see.
I am deeply sorry if I have typed anything offensive with this random pushing of buttons with Bengali symbols.
This allows us to change languages on the keyboard.
The languages available will depend on the languages you have added in your Lumia settings.
As you can see, we have 4, but they can be altered, they can be deleted, and you can add more.
You can find another video on adding languages to the keyboard on this website.
Search for that if you need to know how to do that.
This concludes our tutorial on how to change between languages on the keyboard of a Microsoft Lumia 535.
If you have any questions, or if you can actually decipher what I've written here and you'd like to let me know, then please do so in the comments section below this video.
