I want to swap the SIM card from my Samsung Galaxy S3 to an Apple iPhone 4. Is this possible?
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is the T-Mobile version. I do not know what carrier the iPhone 4 has.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 and Apple iPhone 4 use the same size of SIM card, which is called a microSIM card. The iPhone 4's SIM card slot is in the right-hand side of the device, whereas the Samsung Galaxy S3's is above the battery. Note: if you do not see a SIM card slot in the side of the iPhone 4, it is either a Verizon or Sprint variant of the device and, unfortunately, you will not be able to insert the SIM card from your T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S3, since those versions of the iPhone 4 do not use SIM cards to connect to either Verizon or Sprint's networks. However, if you do see a SIM card slot, it is either the T-Mobile or AT&T version. If that's the case, your SIM card will work. If it's the AT&T version, you will only be able to connect to T-Mobile's EDGE network; you will also need to call AT&T to unlock the device, since AT&T's iPhone 4's were locked to only work on that carrier's network. However, if it's the T-Mobile version, you'll be able to connect to the carrier's 3G/4G (not LTE) network without having to unlock the device. You will still need to call T-Mobile to transfer your data plan from an Android plan to an iPhone plan, though.
