Report Spam Photos/Images on Instagram

Do you get either inappropriate posts of photos/images on your Instagram feed or spam, also known as Instaspam? Well if you do, you can report it and begin to take back control of what you see on your Instagram feed. Thereby making your experience more enjoyable and not ruined by all the spambots.

Report Spam Accounts on Instagram

Similar to the process of reporting and deleting comments on posts, and also similar to reporting posts made by others, you can do the same action for an Instagram account. So if you believe an account is one of those pesky spambots or continues to post inappropriate content or even if you want to report someone's account that is following you, here's how you can report their account.

Not only are you able to report comments on your own posts/images on Instagram, but you can also report comments as spam on friend's/follower's posts as well. Here's how to do that:

Stop Spam on Instagram Through Comment's Setting

Without having to make your account private (which is the next process in this guide), there is a way that you can stop spam comments from appearing on your Instagram posts, and that's through one of the options in the settings of Instagram called "Comments". The "Comments" setting allows you to hide comments that contain words or phrases often reported as offensive.

Set Your Account to Private
