    First we want to unlock the phone

    We prefer the fingerprint unlock option, which makes it fast and easy to access the phone.

    Tap on the app, and we will be directed to the Facebook news feed

    All of us have a friend who posts multiple posts each day, which can be annoying. Maybe we have a friend who posts content that we don't like. This means we are searching for a way to unfollow their posts while still remaining their Facebook friend.

    We need to scroll down the news feed until we find a post from the friend we would like to unfollow, the one who posts 30 or 40 times a day

    Look at the top right-hand corner of the post
    .
    There we will find a light gray arrow with drop down menu. Tap on the arrow to view the menu options. If we accidentally tap on the area surrounding the arrow, we will open the full post. If this happens, simply hit the back arrow in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.

    After we tap on the arrow, we will see a drop down menu
    .
    The second choice from the top should be an option to "Unfollow Friend." Tap on this option, and we will no longer see posts from this friend in our news feed.

    If we accidentally unfollow the wrong friend, we can immediately tap "Unfollowed Undo"

    This will appear in the empty space in the news feed where the post we just removed once was.
