Hello, welcome to VisiHow. In this tutorial, we are going to show you how to start accessing your applications and programs in Windows using your speech recognition application.
- 6The first thing we should do is tell it to open the start menu, and from there we're going to want to tell it to access certain programs. This is going to be the first time that speech recognition is running and helping us access these different programs. We're going to click on the microphone or say "Start listening".
- 14Now will ask it to stop listening by saying "Stop listening", because it has opened up a couple other Windows while talking. Now it is sleeping. But, we were able to access the start menu just by telling the speech recognition tool. We were then able to indicate Movie Maker, and it told us to say "Movie Maker" next time. It will help us along as we're starting to access different programs and applications. As it learns what we want, it will give us little hints and tips to be more efficient.
- 15That's how we start to access our applications and programs in Windows when using the speech recognition application.Thank you for watching VisiHow. If you have any questions or comments about this video please feel free to use the comment section below. Take care.Advertisement
