Split and Remove Scenes of a Video in Windows Movie Maker

Welcome to VisiHow. In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how to split and remove scenes in Windows Movie Maker. If you haven't used this program before, I suggest you watch my earlier videos for Movie Maker on VisiHow. Sometimes, we will record things in a video and make a mistake, realize a part wasn't needed, or it will be too long and we need to shorten it. We're going to want to split a scene. We can see here that we have a video that is spliced together. We have three different clips transitioning, but we decided that we don't like it.
- 5The part that we didn't want is removed, and the time has reduced. Now we can split the clip at the end. It spans for quite some time and we'll just say it's too long and we don't want it that long. In this case, we're going to cut it short by recreating where the ending of this particular clip is. We don't want to put any two things together, we just want to make it end.
- 11That is how you split and remove parts, and set a start and end point in a video in Windows Movie Maker. Thanks for watching VisiHow. If you have any questions or comments about this video, please feel free to leave them in the comment section below. Take care.Advertisement
