You could have an issue with your SIM card. Remove and reinsert your SIM card and see if that fixes the problem.

If you're still experiencing difficulty, try out a different SIM in your device and see if your phone can get a signal. Regardless of what the cause is, you'd be best served by going to your carrier and getting them to fix your connection for you if your SIM cannot function.
