Edited by Djinu, VisiHow, Eng, Anonymous
You're watching VisiHow. In this video tutorial, we're going to demonstrate how you can sign an email attachment from the Mail application on the iPhone 6s Plus.
From the home screen, tap on the Mail app.
Tap on a message that has an attachment for your signature.
Tap and hold the attachment.
It's important to note that this is not a 3D Touch function. In this video, "signature.pdf" is long-pressed lightly. This is going to bring up some additional options.
Tap on "Markup and Reply".
Zoom in using the pinch gesture.
Click and drag the document to pan to the signature space.
This is where you are asked to sign the document.
Tap on the icon in the lower-right corner.
Tap on "Add or Remove Signature".
Tap on the plus icon to add a signature.
It is important to note that the screen will be in the landscape mode. Therefore, you should not write sideways like in the video. It is only for the purpose of the demonstration.
Start creating your signature by drawing it.
If you make a mistake, you can always tap on "Clear".
Tap and drag the box to the appropriate signature area.
Resize the signature by clicking and dragging its corners.
It may be a little big.
Once you're satisfied with that, tap on "Done".
Mail will automatically compose a reply message with the attached file that has the signature.
You can add some additional text if you want to by tapping the body of the message.
You can also simply tap on "Send".
The signed version of the PDF document will be sent in this video.
That was how to sign and reply to an email message with a PDF attachment. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the space below. Thank you for watching VisiHow!
