Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to Shazam a song using the Shazam application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone.
Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen.
Swipe to the right to enter your passcode.
As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.
Find the Shazam icon, which is blue with a white symbol inside of it, and tap on it once to open the application.
To be able to use Shazam we need to give access to the microphone.
Press the home button to go back to the home screen.
Find the settings icon, which is grey with a grey gear inside of it, and tap on it once to open the phone settings.
Find the Shazam icon, which is in the list of applications in alphabetical order at the bottom, and tap on it once.
Tap on the white button to the right of "Microphone" to enable the option and highlight the button with green.
The green color indicates that the option is enabled. If the bubble isn't highlighted green we need to tap on it once.
Double-tap the home button.
Tap on the Shazam application window.
As we can see, it says at the top "Touch to Shazam" indicated by the Shazam logo.
Tap on the Shazam logo at the top to start.
As we can see, it is now listening for a song. If it hears a song, it will pulse in time with the music as well. When it identifies a song, we will see an information page including details about the song like when it was released or where we can find it.
When we're finished, we can tap "Done" in the top-left corner to go back to the page where we began.
Now you know how to Shazam a song using the Shazam application on the iPhone 6.
