Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to share a Web Link in an Email when using a Microsoft Lumia 535.
To start, press the Power Button located on the right side of the phone.
Swipe the Lock screen up.
We need to find a web link that we want to share with a friend by email.
Press the Internet Explorer icon which is located here. If yours is located elsewhere, find it and press it.
Press Internet Explorer to enter it.
At the bottom, we have the browser Search bar.
Press the Search bar to enter the Web site.
We are going to use the MSN Microsoft.
This is the MSNBC news network.
Scroll down, here we have some articles about American life.
Also, we have an article about the latest earthquake in Nepal.
Let us press that international topic.
As you can see, the article is opened.
We want to share this Web link.
We want to Email and share this article with a friend. To do that we are going to copy it.
At the bottom there is the search bar, we can see the text link.
Press and hold it until the text is highlighted in blue.
Try not to touch anything else, now press and hold on the blue highlighted link again.
Release it, and as you can see just above it, on the right side there is a white circle with two pieces of paper in it.
This is the 'Copy' function.
Press on the Copy Function, you will hear a sound and you will see this blue icon shown here which means that the highlighted link is copied.
It signifies that you have successfully copied this Web link.
We are going to go back to the Home Screen by pressing on the 'Home Screen' button which is located at the bottom of the screen.
Now we are going to send this Web link by Email.
Scroll to find the Email icon, mine is here, it is the 'Outlook'. If you have a different Email provider you can use that also. If you don't have this tile pinned to your home screen you must go to the App menu and find it.
Press on the 'Outlook' icon to enter it.
We want to send a new Email, to do that, we will press on the Plus icon which is located here.
Press on the Plus sign in order to send a new Email.
Here, we have a field labeled "To:' where we can add the contact of the person we want to send this information to.
We need to be on the text field of the email, so press on the actual text box
Now we need to press this button (as per shown in the photo here-under), the black circle with the shape paper inside.
When you press on that icon, you can see that it has pasted the copied link.
So when we send this Email to our friend, the link will be present, and they will be able to click on it and it take them directly to this article.
To send the Email, of course, we press on the 'Send' Button which is located at the bottom of the screen here.
That is how you can send a Web link by email.
