Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to share a song via Facebook and Twitter using the Shazam application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone
Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen
Swipe to the right to enter your passcode
As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.
Find the Shazam icon, which is blue with a white symbol inside of it, and tap on it once to open the application
It will automatically take us to the home page, where we can find a song by tapping the Shazam icon at the top, or we can find trending Shazam's as well.
Tap on a song to open up more information about it
Here we can listen on various radios stations and different places, or buy it on iTunes.
Tap on "Share", which is located in the top-right corner of the screen on the information page
This will bring up a long list of share options.
In this example, we'll tap on "Facebook" to share via Facebook
This will take us to the Facebook app. Because we're already logged into Shazam with Facebook it doesn't ask us permission, however if we're logged in via email, we'll need to give permission to Facebook and ensure that we have the app downloaded.
Tap on the blank area next to "To:" to change the recipient(s)
Tap on a contact to add them to the list of recipients
Tap on "Done" in the top-right corner when we're done adding recipients
Type on the keyboard at the bottom to add more sentences or information to the message
Tap on "Post" in the top-right corner of the screen to post as we would any other post to Facebook
It will then take us back to Shazam.
Tap on "Share", which is located in the top-right corner of the screen
In this example, we'll tap on "Twitter" to share via Twitter
This will take us to a post within Shazam which will be sent to Twitter. We can see a summary of the song, including where we found it and a Shazam tag, and also a link to a song at the bottom. We can add a location or some extra words, but we still have a character limit from Twitter indicated in the left-hand corner.
Tap on "Post" located in the top-right corner of the message window to post the share to Twitter
Tap on "Back" in the top-left corner of the screen to go back
Tap on the application home button located in the bottom-left corner of the screen to go back to the page where we started
Now you know how to share a song via Facebook and Twitter using the Shazam application on the iPhone 6
