You are watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to share a profile from Kik in the Kik application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, we need to unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the side.
Alternatively, we can press the Home button at the bottom.
We can enter our passcode or just use the fingerprint scanner.
We need to find the Kik application.
It has a black speech bubble.
We tap Kik once to open up the application.
It will automatically take us to the list of our chats.
We need to tap the settings wheel in the top left-hand corner.
We tap the bottom option, "Share Your Profile".
It has a blue symbol on the left-hand side. A new window will be brought up.
We can choose to share via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or another way.
Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have the same format.
Let's tap "Facebook", for example.
A post for us will be created. The difference is that with Twitter, the post will have a character limit.
We can type anything and edit our settings as well in the new window.
We can select the album where we want the post to be by tapping "Album".
We can change our location by tapping "Location" if we like.
We can tap "Audience" to change our audience.
Some of the options aren't enabled for Twitter and Instagram, but the same form will be there.
We tap "Post" when we are happy with the message.
Alternatively, we tap "Cancel" if we do not want to send the message.
Let's tap "Post".
The message will be sent.
We tap "Share Your Profile" again.
We can tap "Other..." to send the post by other means.
This will bring up a very recognizable window.
We can tap the "Copy" option to copy the link.
We can also send via messages or email by tapping "Message" or "Mail".
Let's tap "Copy".
It means that, for example, if we want to make our own post on Facebook, we can just copy and paste the link into there.
Let's tap "Share Your Profile" again.
Let's tap "Other..." again.
Let's tap "Mail".
This is the same format as "Message". An email message will be composed for you. We will have an introduction, a sentence, that will have our username and the link to our profile. There will be our profile picture as well.
We tap the "To:" input field to add a recipient.
When we have entered the recipient, we tap "Send" as we would with any other email message.
We tap "Done" in the top left-hand corner.
The application will take us to the screen where we began.
