Setup the Facebook Application on the iPhone 6

You are watching VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to get Facebook setup and installed on your iPhone 6.
Start by pressing the power button on the right side of the phone.
Swipe across the lock screen to unlock the phone and access the home screen.
You may have more than one home screen, as indicated by the dots on the bottom of the screen.
What we're looking for is the blue f, for Facebook.
Tap on Facebook once.
This will launch the Facebook application where we will be required to sign in with an email address and/or a phone number.
Tap on the email field and enter in your email then enter your password. Tap Log In.
Facebook will ask you if you would like to receive Notifications.
You can always change this later, so if you're a Facebook user, go ahead and tap on OK.
Now we've got a way to log in faster on the phone.
I can tap on my profile picture instead of typing in my password, and I can save more than one account. I can also add a pass-code, which is a great new feature on Facebook, especially if you're like me and you're in the position where you may end up having to manage more than one Facebook account. Tap OK or Not Now.
Here's my Facebook account.
I have logged into it very quick and easy. I have a notification as well and if I want to see more I can just tap on the More button in the bottom right corner.
Here we have my profile, events, friends, pages, I can create a group, and I can sign into groups.
I can tap on the icon in the top right corner to see who is online with Messenger, but that requires installing Messenger.
We will have a tutorial on installing Messenger on your iPhone 6.
To navigate the Facebook application, we have a number of different areas.
To start, we have News Feed at the bottom left, next we've got Friend Requests. There's also a list of people I may know and could possibly add.
Next is Messages, if you have the Facebook Messenger app installed, which we currently do not.
Next we've got Notifications, this just lets us know about things that we've been notified of.
A friend of mines birthday, a friend likes my link, etc.
You can always tap on More which brings up the entire list of what you can do on Facebook, which includes logging out.
You can also Search at the top.
When you're on the News Feed, you can update your status, upload a photo, and check-in to particular places, areas or restaurants you are in.
If we press the home button on our iPhone 6, it takes us back to the home screen and we can now go back to whatever it is you do on your iPhone 6.
This concludes our tutorial on how to set up Facebook on the iPhone 6. Thanks for choosing VisiHow, have a great day.
